So, far our Draft this year looks like a total bust, except for maybe Benjamin
Brandon Jackson cuts back way to much, he had a huge hole on 3rd and 1 idiot
Gordon really doesn't have great hands, should have caught that pass on the sideline, nice throw by Colt
WOW, where the hell is our offensive line Cousins sucks...if they have these breakdowns with Weeden back there we are doomed since he isn't as mobile as the kid.
...again really like Benjamin reminds me of D. Jackson has that swagger.
We have two players with swagger Haden & Benjamin...that's it...okay Cribbs too but beyond that we got nada.
S. Wallace not happy about line...why would you run towards pressure, a 10 year vet runs toward pressue...dumb. Not very accurate tonight. Doesn't have the fire in his belly anymore.
Coop has nice hands and Smelly also.

One thing i've noticed in general is that these refs are noticeably bad. That was a legit hold but I watched and there was no illegal formation and DET was clearly offside. I hope the real refs get back soon.
Benjamin looks good out there and Weeden looked fine. The INT was off target some but hit Greg Little in the hands. Hardesty looked good on a few cut backs as well. And holy jesus Skrine got bitched by Megatron haha. Oh well, he does that everyone.

Injuries, is it a curse? is our training staff that bad? can we seriously not make it through a preseason game without losing even more starters? we are losing starters left and right and this is ridiculous.

LOL...I think MOMAS is done...not that he can't play but if you have bad luck with injuries like he does it not worth the trouble keepin a roster spot open.
Have a feeling we are going to se a lot of seneca to Mitchell in the second half

Well it's clear to me, Seneca is the best QB on this team let's start him! Everyone calm down, it's the first game of the pre-season and we're starting a lot of rookies. I knew this game was going to be rough and we weren't going to look like the packers out there. The two things that concern the most at this point are the refs and run defense depth.

LOL, seneca looks like he doesn't give a crap...10 year vet and can barely complete a pass...if it wasn't for Norwoods awesome return Wallace would have been traded tomorrow.

Smelley could be a nice compliment...well, after this game he might be our only un-injured starter (gesh)

Like Coops hands better than Norwood but Norwood is so shifty.

actually he played against the first stringers on 2 of his positions that he went 5/5 on
if pocket had not collapsed would have hit Benjamin for another deep TD

You have to take a look at each of Weeden's passes to judge him fairly. 3-9 with a pick sounds bad but in reality it wasn't horrible:
#1: Throws a strike to Massaquoi (not a concussion!!)
#2: Throws another strike to Benjamin on the sideline for a 34 yard gain (some serious speed from Travis)
#3: We called a screen play where Detroit saw it coming from a mile away and we're waiting so he threw the ball into the ground which was a smart play
#4: Out pattern to Josh Gordon that was thrown a bit low but he's got to catch a ball like that, I will give him a pass considering he hasn't played since he was at Baylor a year and a half ago
#5: This was the play of the fumble and he just held onto the ball too long because it was 3rd down with 15 yards to go and I think he was trying to make a play but he just needed to dump the ball to Jordan Cameron in the flats and settle. Gotta respect him trying to make a play
#6: Play action play and he hit Cameron on an out where he got the first down on 2nd and 11 (not many times last year would we even get a first down if we got to a 2nd and long)
#7: This was the almost 2nd pick, If you we're watching the game you saw that Josh Gordon ran an awful attempt at a comeback route and it was on the receiver completely.
#8: This pass they had some pressure so Weeden wisely just got out of the pocket and threw the ball away
#9: Another screen play that there was a lot of traffic on via pressure and he threw it high to Hardesty and he didn't come down with it
#10: This was the pick to Greg Little where he stared him down and the defender anticipated it because his eyes were fixed.
I counted it as 10 because of the fumble but he made a couple good decisions getting rid of the ball on basically broken plays and made some nice throws. His main thing he needs to work on would be his staring down of receivers. Gordon certainly didn't help him out tonight and is going to have to prove himself going forward because he did not look deserving of a starting job tonight
