I think the Browns have there Center and tackles in place.

I am wondering what the boards thoughts are on the guards Pinkston and Lauvao.

i can't get a read on whether these guys are legitimate starters or not. We aren't

getting a very good push. I know Schwartz is learning, and i think he'll be good but

i have no idea about the guards

Inconsistent. Like most of the team. Both have potential but don't get it done much of the time, especially in the run game.

I disagree, they are very consistent.

Consistently bad, they can't get a push and are too slow to pull.

I don't think Pinkston is that bad. It is mainly Lauvao getting his ass handed to him.

Joe Thomas said it was great to see how PInkston was growing into the role so well.

            So, there ya go.

I think Lauvao can run block...

but is a liability in pass protection.

One time, he was helping Mack block the biggest ratbird to his left, and let

a blitzer go in scott free on his right. I'm guessing, a lack of peripheral vision? rb supposed

to be there to pick up the blitz?

I don't know. But the offense is improving, and though inconsistently,

can really move the ball here and there.

Overall I think that the O-line has improved from last year in the fact that they are giving the QB more time to stand in the pocket before it collapses. I'm not saying that they don't have anywhere to improve, they definitely need to work on opening up lanes for Trent so that he can be a bigger factor in the games, but all in all I'd say that are on an upward trend.

Also on the running note, I think it's just about time to end the Owen Marecic experiment. Dude cannot run block or catch to save his life.

The guards are slow. That's why screens and pull-sweeps don't work. They can't get outside fast enough to block anyone.
