lol, god no. if you ever looked at the political board over here... i guess it's not so bad anymore, but a few months ago it was not much more than a Tea Party circlejerk.

  • You are correct Gip. My favorite presidents were Washington: he was the man. Jefferson: probably the smartest, and warned Americans over two hundered years ago the dangers of government. He was the Nostradamus of politicians. Lincoln: took a horrible situation and made the best of it. JFK: with all his faults, he took the world off the brink of nuclear annihilation. Ronald Reagan : all people, let alone presidents need those kind of balls

Now there are 6 other questions. Or are you a one trick pony. ( a movie by the way that I appeared in...as an extra)

Man it's all left that I've seen. But it's cool I'm not crazy to the right and most on here to the left aren't crazy. The ones that argue politics until they are blue in face are the ones that get me. Do we really think that we will change each others political opinion, or do anything but just talk shit to each other on a football chat board. Really. I just wanna talk to fellow browns fans about the browns. And I'm too hard headed not to throw my two cents in at times

And I wanna know who your favorite movie villain is....and what you think the new future monarch of England should be named....and what teams you wanna see in the Super Bowl etc.

By the way, I Like Ike better than Reagan....despite my avatar.

Gipper, you were kinda just asking for things to go this way when you threw that question in there.

No, my fault was in not realizing the potential for idiocy that some people are capable of. So, in that respect, maybe I did.

oh someone disagrees with you so you call them an idiot

i think america is worse off because of these programs (welfare, food stamps, disability) stealing money from hardworking individuals and giving it to people who do nothing but collect a check anyway.

fdr started a lot of these programs, so IN MY OPINION he is the worst president

    how am i an idiot?

Perhaps it can best be put to poetry.

How are you an idiot....let me count the ways.

    A. Because you have no clue about the history involved with the necessity of bringing these programs forth. You have no concept of the dire straits in which this nation was at the time and how laissez faire....as you proscribe was totally a failure.

    B. Because you obviously took no time to compare FDR's accomplishments outside of these "programs" you find supposedly distasteful....that is, until you would need one of them (Boy who cried wolf syndrome)..to what other Presidents did or did not accomplish.

    C. Because it is a fact that this country would be as bad as any banana republic without some of these programs. Because you think you would be part of the elite when more likely you would be one of the bananas.

    D. Because you base your philosophy on some arm chair/disc jockey blather you may have heard or read....not on the realities on the ground in this nation. Because you think in absolutist/theoretical terms...on some Ayn Rand horseshit that has no basis in the reality of this nation or its history.

OK, maybe you are not an idiot....just misguided and misinformed. So be it.

i will never need any of these programs, i am not a thief and i do not expect anyone else to pony up money to support me, i am strong and i can pull my own weight and when i can't i will die (hopefully) not continue to live and leech off society when i have no worth whatsoever.

also im thinking the browns might end up going 7-9, initially i said 6-10

but i see their only loss coming against denver, obviously that means beating the steelers at heinz field, they are definitely capable, just gotta get it done.

I would wager that a day does not go by where you are not already "leeching" off some government program. Example: do you ever drive on public streets? Did you attend public schools? Did you take a bus to get there? I could go on.

If he pays taxes I might not call that leaching, like people on government assistance that don't pay taxes. I'm a cop and I get to see first hand all the time how our lovely citizens use these taxpayer dollars, a lot of times on dope. And I'm getting back into politics again. Damn
