Well, I inherited the browns from dad, as did he from dad ( my grandad saw the first game played in '46 ). And as I don't see how a fan can go from one team to another, I'll never bitch at someone for rooting for the Browns

good timing.

That awkward moment when we had a defensive back suspended for p.e.d.'s too.
That being said. Glad to have you aboard. We're still down right now, so anyone jumping over won't have to suffer through the bandwagon taunts, but you'll have to suffer through losses. Surprised you left the Seahawks. I'll admit I thought Pete Carroll was a terrible hire and he was gutting the team into nothingness, but he's done the opposite. He's made them competitive and good again. Maybe he just got a little lucky with Russell Wilson, though.
Either way. Welcome aboard.

I am never really a fan of having another fan jump ship from his team that he has followed most of his life.....because here is the deal which we have learned here: player, coaches, even owners are fungible.
The fans and the city the team represents is not.
Practically 1/3rd of an NFL teams roster changes every year. Coaches are hired and fired. Pete Carroll will be out soon enough. This is no longer like the old days where a coach like Tom Landry or Don Shula will continue for 20-25 years. Andy Reid's 14 years in Philly is now way, way above normal. And you can have new owners. The Browns have now had 4 in the last 17 years.
Paul Allen isn't in that good of health.
So I say stick with your team even if they are not doing so well or if there are issues with it.....you are its glue, really.

Agree with Gipper. Good or bad, it should be deeper than wins, losses, coach right now, owner right now. You've heard the saying I bleed Orange, etc., etc. Well to an extent, you need have that mentality, stick to your guns. If you don't think Browns fans caught heat the last several years wearing our Orange and Brown at sports bars, etc., think again. On the same note, the fans have had ALLOT of frustration with the front offices, drafts, coaches, owner, etc.
Be proud of your heritage and team. One reason I (like many others) get so sick of the Squeelers is the amount of bandwagoners that claim they've been a fan for years. Really ? The team has done well and the fan base of the decade prior were no where near what they are now. The next few years they'll have a time as they decline and you'll see those fans find new homes.
Appreciate the wnat to join the most loyal fans in the NFL, but wouldn't want your team be aold short.

If the Browns were a stock, Goldman Sachs execs would be selling their hot-ass wives to get a piece of the action. In the next 4-6 months we're gonna see a ton of bandwagoners floating around, even though this guy doesn't seem to be one.
