Here is some "State of the Union" Trivia. It does what I like to do sometimes: combine football trivia with Presidential historical trivia. So, see how you do:

    1. Who are the only 2 Presidents who failed to deliver a State of the Union address as required by the Constitution?

    2. There have been 94 starting QBs in the 47 Super Bowls we have had. What are the Top 3 states in which most of these QBs matriculated while at college.

    3. Name the ONLY city in the country where 2 U.S. Presidents were born.

    4. Name those cities that are the birthplace of 5 or more members of the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Hint: 6 cities.

    5. Which state in the US has the most different colleges that were attended by a US President? (can include grad schools and law schools)

    6. Who is the only President to give a second "State of the Union" address to Congress in a year...and for what purpose was that second speech given?

    7. Which states by virtue of the college attended produced 5 or more Heisman Trophy winners? Hint: 6 states

    8. Name the 4 states in which the most Heisman Trophy winners were born.

    9. Name the two Heisman Trophy winners who were not "Born in the USA".

    10. There have been 222 State of the Union addresses given to Congress by US Presidents. But, fyi, the Constitution does not require that these addresses be given orally by speech. In fact no where near all of them have been given live. By a certain margin of error how many of those 222 "addresses" have been delivered orally to Congress?

    11. A. Of those who did deliver oral addresses, who delivered the shortest address?

    B. Who delivered the longest (in terms of time)?

    12. Here is an either/or question. I have listed 10 sets of two schools. You simply say which of the schools you think currently has more active players in the NFL:

    A. Iowa or Alabama

    B. Michigan or Maryland

    C. South Carolina or Oklahoma

    D. Georgia or Texas

    E. Louisville or UCLA

    F. Arizona or Rutgers

    G. Tiffin or Tulsa

    H. Grambling or Mt. Union

    I. Harvard or Akron

    J. Hawaii or West Virginia

BONUS: Which Presidents of these United States has had a namesake play in the NFL at some point in time?

No, you are to pick the one from each of the pairs that you think currently has the most players in the NFL. Sorry about confusion.

Bonus, i think your going for full names so im guessing Yes, full first and last names

    Andrew Jackson , john adams?

These two are correct...but there are more.

Sorry. I thought you had answered #2 which does require a city. Yes, Mass. is wrong.

On #12 you got only 4 right. Won't reveal which ones to let others have their shot.

    Answers:

    1. Who are the only 2 Presidents who failed to deliver a State of the Union address as required by the Constitution?

William Henry Harrison and James Garfield....because both died in their first year in office and never got to deliver a State of the Union Address (which is only given by the POTUS after their first year in office)

    2. There have been 94 starting QBs in the 47 Super Bowls we have had. What are the Top 3 states in which most of these QBs matriculated while at college.

    California 15, Indiana 13, Louisiana 8 (Mich/MD/Fla 6 each)

    3. Name the ONLY city in the country where 2 U.S. Presidents were born.

Quincy, Mass. John Adams and, of course, John Quincy Adams.

    4. Name those cities that are the birthplace of 5 or more members of the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Hint: 6 cities.

    Chicago 12

    Pittsburgh 8

    New York 7

    Los Angeles 5

    Cleveland 5

    Houston 5

    5. Which state in the US has the most different colleges that were attended by a US President? (can include grad schools and law schools)

That would be Ohio with 5 different schools attended by POTUS

    Kenyon: Hayes

    Hiram: Garfield

    Miami: Ben Harrison

Ohio Central College nka Muskingam: Harding

    Cincinnati Law: Taft

    6. Who is the only President to give a second "State of the Union" address to Congress in a year...and for what purpose was that second speech given?

John F. Kennedy to announce intentions to put a man on the moon.

    7. Which states by virtue of the college attended produced 5 or more Heisman Trophy winners? Hint: 6 states

    Texas 9, Calif. 8, Indiana 7, Ohio 7, Florida 7, Oklahoma 6

    8. Name the 4 states in which the most Heisman Trophy winners were born.

    California: 13, Ohio 10, Texas 8, PA 7

    9. Name the two Heisman Trophy winners who were not "Born in the USA".

Tim Tebow was born in The Phillipines

Robert Griffin III was born in Japan

    10. There have been 222 State of the Union addresses given to Congress by US Presidents. But, fyi, the Constitution does not require that these addresses be given orally by speech. In fact no where near all of them have been given live. By a certain margin of error how many of those 222 "addresses" have been delivered orally to Congress?

Only 78 have been delivered live. The vast majority of these just since the age of TV. Before TV only a handful delivered the State of the Union Address live in front of Congress. Prior to that it was just a written address, mostly...but not all. See the next question

    11. A. Of those who did deliver oral addresses, who delivered the shortest address?

George Washington delivered an address orally that consisted of only 1089 words.

    B. Who delivered the longest (in terms of time)?

Bill Clinton had the two longest 1 hour 28 minutes and 1 hour 24 minutes. Bubba liked to talked.

FYI, the longest written address deliverd to Congress was done by Jimmy Carter. Over 33,000 words. (But thankfully he didn't give it as a speech.) He was one of the few in the TV age who did not give a live address.

    12. Here is an either/or question. I have listed 10 sets of two schools. You simply say which of the schools you think currently has more active players in the NFL:

    A. Iowa or Alabama

    B. Michigan or Maryland

    C. South Carolina or Oklahoma

    D. Georgia or Texas

    E. Louisville or UCLA

    F. Arizona or Rutgers

    G. Tiffin or Tulsa

    H. Grambling or Mt. Union

    I. Harvard or Akron

    J. Hawaii or West Virginia

BONUS: Which Presidents of these United States has had a namesake play in the NFL at some point in time?

John Adams, Jimmie Carter, Andrew Jackson, William McKinley, and Thomas Wilson. Who you say? Woodrow Wilson's first name was Thomas, Woodrow was his middle name. (though, the NFL Thomas Wilson did not have the middle name of Woodrow)

I would have also accepted Andrew Johnson and there have actually been 2 Andre Johnson play in the NFL. Not sure why they left the w off.

Other similar but not quite Presidential/NFL names: Greg Cleveland, Larry Eisenhauer, Houston Hoover, Ben Obamonu, Naama Roosevelt, Zane Taylor, and Gene Washington.

Oddly, there have been over 100 players with the last name of Washington to have played in the NFL over the years, but not a one had the first name of George.
