Margaret Thatcher

Just curious how she's seen in the US. Her death was greeted here with the predictable polarised view - the rich mourn her, the poor rejoice. People have even gone so far as to organise a party in Trafalgar Square, whereas on the other hand people are talking about having a statue of her in Westminster or somewhere.
Of course, I'm making a big assumption that the news of her death was reported there!

I liked her. She and Reagan made quite the team back in the day.

She was a great lady, a strong leader. What's shocking is the vile and hate spewed towards her by the left in
GB and here - just because her politics weren't left.
Very rude, and a whole lot sick.
