    True. It was 2004. Actually, the Pats won in the 2003 season in the Jan 2004 SB, then the Sox won in Oct. 2004...and the Pats won again in the 2004 season in the Jan. '05 SB.

    BYU has made the NCAA 27 times, but no Final Fours. Second to BYU is Missouri with 26 NCAA bids.

    The Minnesota Vikings have been in 9 conference (or league) title games without ever having won it all. They won 4 NFL/NFC title games, but lost all 4 SBs, and also lost 5 conference title games.
