  • Yes, and it'll be nice to not to hear certain fans squawking at him because he is holding out ,,, that gets old. I understand the business side, but it is awesome having everybody signed as we go into our first camp with Chud!

    Zombo

  • Both sides came together and actually compromised, which is really refreshing. All in all a good sign; let's get camp rolling!

  • Now let's have an uneventful boring training camp. NO injuries, arrests, suspensions and all that junk

  • I really hope that Mingo pans out. I've been reading interviews with OL that played against him in the SEC and I hear nothing but praise for his speed, motor and deceptive strength. Of course they might just be talking him up as a professional courtesy, I don't remember any prospects ever talking crap about another prospect.

  • Dude looks lean at 240 lbs on tv footage. Should he put on 10 - 20 lbs?

No brainer if he wants to be a 3 down OLB... 255+ would be ideal

Yeah, at 240 I think he can be a pass rush specialist, but Sheard is much thicker (2 inches shorter and 15 pounds heavier), so i can't see Mingo in there on running downs so much.

--although first down is not really a running down anymore.

  • just means he can get to the QB faster.

i'm drooling at the prospect of that dummy QB he rails through being flacco or BR.

    nitey nite!

  • His left arm is an inch and half longer than his right? What's up with that?

Mama usually holds child with her right hand.....that means his left. She tugged a little more than most.

  • If he becomes a pro bowler I will never question Banner or Lombardi again on draft picks (who am I kidding). Hope he turns out to be the next JPP

    FWIW

"Currently, the causes of congenital skeletal limb abnormalities are not fully understood. Some possible risk factors for this condition may include:
•being exposed to viruses, medications, or chemicals before birth
•tobacco use by your mother while she was pregnant with you
•having other kinds of abnormalities. These include omphalocele, a heart defect, or gastroschisis.
•congenital constriction band syndrome, in which bands of amniotic tissue get tangled in your arms or legs before your birth"

IOW, the quacks don't have a clue

Well, it that extra inch and a half tips a pass to win the Super Bowl, all that tugging was damn worth it.

Amen brother...no odd results on lab tests, no injuries just a good focus on the upcoming season

  • Again, the league we play in... which is why the Browns and Mingo are both saying he's good to go at 240. Quickness off the edge trumps playing the run by miles and miles these days.

In fact, after the guy who throws the ball, the guy who hits the guy who throws the ball is the most important player in football. Well... or the guy who stops the guy who hits the guy who throws the football (LT).

look! he's ashamed of the longer arm. he's hiding it under the table (where haslam is slippin him about 2.5 mil cash guaranteed (don't know the #'s)

i always thought kids had one arm longer than the other from being dragged out of the mall to the car outside where they could get their ass beat without other people's involvement.

john quinonez asks: "what would you do?"

Yeah, size only matters on the OL. I had a chance to meet TJ Ward @ one of our Browns Backers dinners, and the first thought that came into my head was- there's no way a guy that small can deliver those kind of hits on a football field.
