The defending Champion Baltimore Ravens defense allowed something to occur that had not happened since the AFL/NFL merger. They also allowed the most points scored against them in the history of that franchise.
The Ravens lost 8 of the 22 starters from the Super Bowl team. How much did this contribute?
In theory, the Ravens were supposed to have done an outstanding job of replacing the starters lost from their defense when they brought in the likes of Elvis Dumerville and Michael Huff.
But...giving up a franchise record number of points?

I watched it today. There's clearly a lot of 'settling in' issues with the Ravens at the moment, highlighted by Welker's touchdown where he was completely uncovered.
Also, Trevathan's non-touchdown was astoundingly hilarious.

I'm not a coach but I play one on TV... and I suggest throwing at the Ravens. A lot.
To be fair, it was Manning throwing the ball to the guys. I'm actually worried about the Ravens game next week. Those guys are gonna be looking for redemption big time and it'll fall into the Browns laps.
