For me this weekend it was...

    Louisville / UCF

Tuned in to scope out Bridgewater and got impressed by 2 UCF RB's...

    1st Storm Johnson (great name!) JR. - 18 carries 109 yds1 TD 4 Rec 79 yds 1 TD

    2nd William Stanback - True Frosh - 9 carries 65 yds

    FLA St / Clemson

Tuned in for Boyd and got Seminoled...

Winston at QB for sure but also his pass catchers...

    - O'Leary JR TE 5 Rec 161 yds

    - Greene JR WR 8 Rec 146 yds

...but still like Clemson's S Watkins JR WR 8 Rec 68 yds

Landry the WR from LSU looks like a beast. Too bad LSU and the entire SEC is overrated as fuck.

Also Mariotta is looking like the "one" Bridgey and Boyd both underwhelmed and lost this week

Maty Mauk from Missou looked like someone to keep an eye on

I think Mauk's brother ben was mr. Ohio when i was a senior. Our RB got screwed. My line was huge.

but until a team from the big ten or pac ten can go into alabama, mz the pussy or EVEN LSU or tennessee and beat the shit out of them, you can't say that.

and alabama just continues to roll. meanwhile we (ohio state) are worried about teams like northwestern. GTFO.

Mariota and Bridgewater, clearly. Almost locked into top 3, maybe top 2. Browns need to get one. There's absolutely no sense in being stingy when you have the core of young talent we do, 10 draft picks, and 30 mill. We really don't have a lot of other starter openings: Maybe a right side blocker, MAYBE a WR (I still like Little), probably another TE for 12 formations, and arguably nothing on the defense. Yeah, you'd like a rotation player at CB with some size.

The Browns took a back instead of Tannehill, missed on Rodgers and a million others... this group knows the league to tell to let that happen.

I think we take a QB and WR in round 1, there are some GOOD prospects for recieving this year

yeah well to get mariota or bridgewater you're going to have to give up the second first round pick, and maybe more.

if we do that we won't be picking any other quality type guy until the second round, that is, of course if we didn't trade those away as well.

I was looking at Evans. is he worthy of 1st round pick or is he a 2nd rounder. Who looks promising at Guard?

i'd take the ball washer from wisconsin today and suit him up instead of the shit we have playing for us on the right side.

Late first rounder IMO. I think with his size and hands he is a great pickup.

Michael Williams, TE, Alabama is the complete package

Frankly only Mariota looks interesting to me with our 1st pick. Not really sure how high we're gonna pick. There is going to be a war near the top of the draft to take Clowney. If we somehow end up sucking worse than the Giants and Redskins by the end of the season, and Mariota comes off the board before our pick...we should absolutely look at either taking Clowney outright or shopping that pick. Teams will come out their pockets for him. But we really should consider taking him if he's there and the deal isn't right from other teams. I'm starting to like the idea of taking a qb like Miller with that late pick from Indy. Maybe McCarron? I dunno..someone to study under Hoyer. None of those guys coming out of the draft, even the top guys....seem to me like they're gonna be ready to start for Cleveland on day one. Maybe other teams but not us. If we take one of those qb's with our 1st pick we cannot trot him out there opening day next year. This may be hard to admit for us but we've seen this too many times....good collegiate qb's with promising NFL careers that get nipped in the bud cause we notoriously cannot protect qb's. Last year with Weeden was that one glorious exception where we finally were able to protect our rookie qb, and that was wasted on Weeden but whatev.

but will he last to the point where we can get him if we start trading our draft picks away. hey i see people play every saturday that i could claim we should pick at our spot in every round of the draft. by the time the clock ticks down to 10 seconds for this first pick and goodell walks to the podium we could have given up 3 picks easy.

and you know norv loves himself some TIGHT ends.

If someone wants him really bad I would not minding swapping 1st and pickup a 3rd.

mike, if the good lord doesn't come down and swap out brains with weeden and aaron rodgers, there's no way in hell we don't pick QB with our first pick, hence the question: what will it take?

get a third? we'll be lucky if we still have a third round pick if we have to move up to the second pick.

i was thinking maintaining our two 1st picks and getting another third. There seems to be good enough QB's out this year for us to pick one up in the 1st.

Last time to move from 4th to 2nd we were offering two first rounds, a future first round and a second. Given that we're probably going to end up picking 6th at worst - we'll beat jacksonville, and probably the steelers at least, for 5 wins - we basically won't be able to move up to second without giving up everything we have.
