The sad part is, JAC probably has no choice but to keep him. He's their best offensive player by a mile.

Brilliant move by Jags. You are neck and neck with TB for the first draft pick, so you take your best offensive weapon out on the town in a limo filled with purple drank, hookers and weed, all but assuring that you won't possibly win a game the rest of the year, and you don't have to worry about getting him injured the rest of the year, he's nice and healthy to play with your shiny brand new #1 overall QB next year.

This beats having someone roll the #2 overall Tackle's ankle in the first quarter of his first start to further avoid winning a game this year.

We see what you are doing there, Jacksonville. Well played.

I'd like to have been a member of that "suspended indefinitely" posse. Hey Mik, have you tried the purple drank yet?

They need the trifecta of Jones-Drew blowing out an ACL, that would really clinch it, if it hasn't assured 0-16 already. Heard on ESPN one of the Vegas bookies would have put the 0-16 Lions as 2 point favorites over the Jags on a neutral field.

Dr. Hoorta chiming in. 🙂 The Purple Drank- phenergan + codeine when used legitimately is probably the best cough medicine you can find. Wouldn't doubt you can get a buzz off of it if you slammed an entire bottle- but it would be risky business washing it down with a pint of Jack.

Even during a bye week the Jags find a way to lose.
