And, of course, this brings up the speculation that the reason these teams have not hired anyone is because they have their sites set on someone whose team is still in the playoffs. Gase from Denver is considered frontrunner...so that may be true.
The big problem with waiting so long from what I understand: getting quality assistant coaches/coordinators. Anyone good may already get snarfed up.
