That is not correct. Though I will basically give it to you. It was Sun Devil Stadium in Tempe, prior to the Glendale Stadium being built...and yes, it had to do with AZ not recognizing MLK Day.

  • Only 3 complete and 5 partial answers given so far.

Four O'clock on Friday, gotta pull the Trigger. Answers:

    1. Per a certain source and within a margin of error of 6 inches, if all the guacamole consumed on Super Bowl Sunday was spread over a football field (120x53 yards)....how deep would it be?

All that guacamole would fill a football field 11'8" deep.

    2. Per a certain source and within a margin of error. if all the chips that were consumed on Super Bowl Sunday were lined up end to end and you could walk on them, how far would you have to walk to cover them all?

293,000 miles.....or further than it is to the moon.

    3. At which Super Bowl (numericall) was the Winning Trophy first called "The Lombardi Trophy"?

Super Bowl V Colts over Dallas after the 1970 season. Vince Lombardi had died of cancer earlier that year and they named the trophy after him, appropriately.

    4. How many teams have appeared in a Super Bowl without having won one?

Ten Teams: Vikings, Bills, Seahawks, Chargers, Cardinals, Bengals, Titans, Falcons, Panthers, Eagles. Seahawks (hopefully) can reduce that number by one next week.

    5. Name those teams (and the year) which lost a Super Bowl, but came back the next year to win it.

Only two teams have done it:

The 1970 Cowboys came back in 1971 to beat the Dolphins.

Then those 1971 Dolphins came back to beat the Redskins in 1972.

And that is it. Every Super Bowl loser in over 40 years since has fallen short.

    6. What is the longest winning streak by one conference over the other in the Super Bowl history?

The NFC won 13 straight from SB19 to SB31. The Raiders won the SB in 1983 and the AFC did not win again until the Broncos won in 1997.

    7. According to Forbes magazine, and within a margin of error how many prostitutes are employed during Super Bowl weekend in the host city?

    Ten thousand..10,000.

    8. What is the only stadium to have hosted the Super Bowl in consecutive years?

The Orange Bowl in Miami hosted SBII and SBIII.

    9. From which 2 stadiums was a Super Bowl removed after having been awarded?

(note: do not count the NYC Westside Stadium that was never built)

Sun Devil Stadium had the SB pulled when Arizona refused to recognize Martin Luther King Day. They later recognized it and got a Super Bowl...or 2/3.

Kansas City's Arrowhead Stadium got their pulled due to the failure of a tax bond for stadium support. KC has never gotten a chance since.

    10. This year HC John Fox is taking his second team to a Super Bowl. Name the other coaches that have coached 2 teams in the Super Bowl.

    Shula: Colts/Dolphins. Parcells: Giants/Pats. Dan Reeves: Broncos/Falcons. Dick Vermeil: Eagles/Rams. Holmgren: Packers/Seahawks

    11. What Super Bowl record does Mike Lodish hold?

He is the only person to ever play in 6 Super Bowls. 4 with Buffalo, 2 with Denver. Tom Brady could have tied him....but didn't.

    12. How many interceptions did Joe Montana throw in his 4 Super Bowl appearances?

    None....not a one in 122 attempts.

    13. Which teams have lost the most Super Bowls?

Vikings/Bills/Broncos/Patriots. Denver gets a chance to break that tie 😁

    14. Which team had the most Turnovers in a Super Bowl game?

The Buffalo Bills committed 9 TOs in SB 28.

    15. Name those Head Coaches who are in the Pro Football Hall of Fame and took their team to a Super Bowl, but never won a Super Bowl.

Bud Grant, George Allen, Marv Levy

Bonus: Name those Head Coaches that have won 2 or more Super Bowls but are not (yet) in the Pro Football Hall of Fame

Tom Flores, George Seifert, Jimmy Johnson, Mike Shanahan, Bill Belichick, Tom Coughlin
