If he was a good player I'd consider working with him. At this point we should just cut ties though.

Tend to agree, BBE, but if there's a chance we get the player we thought we were getting when he was signed...
Also can renegotiate his contract... In light of what has transpired a reduced base salary with low/ no guarantees, but plenty of incentive bonuses (including piss tests) would seem like a reasonable thing to insist upon.
