Yea, I know. They played at the Silverdome in Pontiac Mich. I guess they didn't want to say Detroit.

Its like: when did Tennessee, Arizona, Minnesota, and New England become cities.

    Final Answers

1.What does the following list of names represent, exclusively:

    Elgie Tobin

    Guy Chamberlain

    Norm Barry

    Paul Brown

    Don McCafferty

    George Seifert

    George Wilson

    Adam Walsh

    Lou Rymkus

    Wally Lemm

These are the coaches that won a Championship in their first year as a HC. Tobin with Akron Pros, Chamberlain with the Canton Bulldogs, Barry, I forget, in the 20s. PB with the Browns. McCafferty with the 1970 Colts. Seifert when he took over the 49ers from Walsh. Adam Walsh, from the 50s. George Wilson with the 50s Lions, Rymkus and Lemm with the Oilers of the AFL. Odd that. Rymkus won the title with the Oilers in 1961, but was replaced by Lemm who won with the Oilers in 1962.

    2. Name the player that holds these postseason records:

    A. 22 Career Postseason TDs: Jerry Rice

    B. 248 yards rushing in a playoff game: Eric Dickerson

    C. 1586 career postseason rushing yards: Emmit Smith

    D. Scored a TD in 9 consecutive postseason games: Thurman Thomas

    E. 90 yard rushing TD, longest in postseason history: Fred Taylor, Jags

    F. 45 Playoff TD passes Joe Montana

    G. 96 yard TD playoff TD pass, longest in history. Give the combo QB/receiver. Dilfer to Shannon Sharpe

    H. 489 passing yards in a postseason game Bernie Kosar

    I. 20 playoff wins as Head Coach Tom Landry

    3. Name the 5 QBs who have thrown for 50,000 yards in their career.

    Favre, Peyton, Brees, Marino, Elway

    4. The World Football League only played on complete season and named only 1 Champion in 1974. What city did that WFL Champion represent?

The Birmingham (Ala.) Americans won the only WFL title

    5. The USFL played only 3 seasons. Their three champions represented 3 different cities. Name those 3 cities.

The Michigan Panthers, the Philadelphia Stars and the Baltimore Stars. Same franchise that just moved down the road.

    6. What was the shortest overtime game in postseason history

2012 Broncos over Steelers. It took Tim Tebow 11 seconds to win that game in OT.

Bonus: What team had the longest undefeated streak in history?

The Canton Bulldogs went 25 games without a loss. There were 22 wins and 3 ties in that streak.

Note: The Patriots are given the record for most consecutive victories with 21 in a row. And that is true, but also note that 2 of their wins were in OT games that under older rules prior to 1974 would have been games ending in ties.

I saw Pink Floyd in the Silverdome. I had floor seats and sat right next to the control truck in the middle of the floor. It was AWESOME!!!!!!!
