    Here is a set of trivia on the various sports happenings:

    1. In the NBA, who is the only active player that is among the Top Ten in all time career games played?

    2. You all know that Wilt Chamberlain scored 100 pts. in a game, and that the #2 most points was scored by Kobe Bryant. What player is #3 on the list of most points in a game?

    Hint: it is not Michael Jordan.

    3. A. After The Sochi Winter Olympics, what will be the host city 4 years from now?

    B. The host cities for both the 2016 and the 2020 Summer Olympics have been chosen. Name these two cities.

    4. Who won more Olympic Medals than any other athlete in history, Summer or Winter games?

    5. What country has won the most medals in the Winter Olympics since they started in 1924?

    Hint: it is not the USA

    6. Three cities have been the host of the Winter Olympics on 2 separate occasions. Name these 3 cities.

    7. Many (mostly small) countries have won medals in the Summer Olympics without ever having won a medal in the Winter Olympics. However, there is one and only one single country that has won several medals in the Winter Olympics without having ever won a medal in the Summer Olympics. Name that country.

    One of these is Rio, I think 2016.

    David Robinson scored 71 points in a game

    Pyongchang, South Korea.

    For the 2022 games, the choice is down to 5 cities: BEijing, China; Almaty, Kasakhstan; Lviv, Ukraine; Krakow, Poland, and Oslo, Norway.

    B. The host cities for both the 2016 and the 2020 Summer Olympics have been chosen. Name these two cities.

    2016 is Rio de Janiero. 2020 is Tokyo.

    4. Who won more Olympic Medals than any other athlete in history, Summer or Winter games?

    Michael Phelps has won 22 medals (not all gold). Most of anyone ever.

    5. What country has won the most medals in the Winter Olympics since they started in 1924?

    Hint: it is not the USA

    Norway, prior to this years games had won 303 medals in the Winter Olympics. The USA is second with 234.

    6. Three cities have been the host of the Winter Olympics on 2 separate occasions. Name these 3 cities.

    Lake Placid NY, USA

    Innsbruck, Austria

    St. Moritz, Switzerland

    7. Many (mostly small) countries have won medals in the Summer Olympics without ever having won a medal in the Winter Olympics. However, there is one and only one single country that has won several medals in the Winter Olympics without having ever won a medal in the Summer Olympics. Name that country.

    Liechtenstein....has won 9 Winter Medals but -0- Summer Medals.

    Colts: 7 times. Rams: 6 times. Patriots 5 times.

    Notes: this year will be the 3rd time the Texans have had #1 overall....matching the Browns in history.

    Also: The Boston/NY Yanks, now defunct had the #1 overall pick twice. They are the only defunct team to have had that #1 pick.

    11. Of all those #1 overall picks in the draft, NFL and AFL included, which surname (last name) of a player has been selected the most times?

    Smith: Bubba Smith, Bruce Smith, Alex Smith

    There have been 2 Sims: Ken and Billy. There were 2 Davis's: Corby and Ernie. And of course 2 Mannings: Peyton and Eli.

    Besides the Mannings I do not believe any of the others were related.
