Which RB do you guys want in the draft?

The Browns Board

  • The guy I like is RB Andre Williams from BC.

He runs like a drunk dad playing tackle football in the back yard with his kids, just runs them over like an asshole.

Best fucking description for a RB ever haha.

  • The Browns could conceivably take Carlos Hyde and Andre Williams in the middle rounds. Just pummel opposing defenses.

  • Wait until the combine is over and ask the same question.

  • In one of those "you do the drafting" sites, of the Browns picks I chose both Carlos Hyde in like round 3 and James Wilder Jr. in a later round.

It would not surprise me to see the Browns do something like that with their 10 picks.

  • Carlos Hyde and JC Copeland please ......

  • Tre Mason

  • I m a happy camper if we acquire Hyde or Mason.

  • If Shannahan keeps up the tradition I wouldn't be suprised if they take a guy late that fits his scheme and we get good production out of it.

If they let Shannahan have influence on who the back is I'd assume he'll want his type of guy so the popular guys that will go in the earlier rounds might not be as likely.

  • Andre Williams is the next Herschel Walker

  • Andre Williams just flat-out abused NC State in that reel.

He's a grinder that just keeps coming at you. Kinda reminds me of a bigger version of Donald Brown when he came out. Not much breakaway speed...but that stiffarm/forearm is effective.

If the Browns draft Williams or Hyde or Wilder I hope that they pick-up a speed back to compliment him. And a big YES PLEASE on JC Copeland (or whoever Farmer feels is the best FB).

  • Andre Williams/Hyde/Mason are probably my very biased top 3.

J.C Copeland is my favorite fullback.

David Fluellen in addition to the other RB and Copeland. He went to my sorry school but he's very good IMO. I've seen him play at some of our games. Pretty impressive IMO. At lower level of competition, but he impressed at the senior bowl too which is a good sign for a small school guy.

    So? Are you Finnish?

And if so, riddle me this: how do we get the name Finland for that country when they call themselves Suomi.

Finnish by injection - my wife is half. Visited her cousin there a while back and was enamored with the people and the vistas. Her cousin was a childhood friend of the Prime Minister and we got to hang-out with him for a couple of days. Hence the moniker.

How do we get the name "Spain" for that country when they call themselves "Espana"? Italy/Italia? Ireland/Erie? Pittsburgh/Shithole?

  • Carlos Hyde and De'Anthony Thomas. If Hyde runs a 4.4 40 like he boasts I would take him in the second round or move back up into the second round for him.

  • I like hyde and williams

  • One of these two guys:

    Terrance West or Tyler Gaffney.

Would be a grrrreat pick in the third round.

A cooler pick in the fourth, but they could be gone,

    depends on the combine results.

West will be a late round pick and Gaffney may go undrafted. Gaffney would be a great pick up as an UDFA. Played in a zone blocking scheme.

  • We'll see after the combine.

Depending on the combine results, he may very well be a 4th rounder. We'll see.

I like West better than the taller Gaffney.

    Draft Projection

Terrance West was a dominant back at the FCS level, but has shown the ability to run the football against FBS programs and should be able to be an effective back in the NFL. His combination of size, speed and power is dangerous if he can get consistent with his pad level and keep a low center of gravity. He will block and can catch the ball, so he should be able to contribute immediately with the potential to get better with time and development in the NFL. West projects as a fringe top 100 player that could slip into day two, but is a good value early in the fourth round.
