I'm all for the steelers doing some dumb shit like that don't get me wrong, I'm just curious as to why a Steeler fan would want this. He wasn't an ILB even in his prime. Asking him to play ILB in a 3-4 would require of him some pretty significant coverage responsibilities that he's incapable of now and one would question if he ever was capable of it. He's a hybrid...always was.

He was never a real captain or leader anyway, he kept to himself and only gave a fuck about himself. So why bring him back? To mentor the noobs? He could care less....couldn't mentor them even if he wanted to, which he doesn't. I respect the dude, he's his own man...goes through life how he feels like. But there's certain things he's not capable of and that means now that his skills have diminished...his usefulness in the league is diminished even more. This is why guys like DQ carry value past their playing prime.

charlie frye and josh cribbs are the only other 2 guys to come out of those schools that i can name.
dri archer from kent state might get drafted but his size is worrisome.
