  • who WOULDN'T like this WR class.

you'd have to be blind not to like one of the deepest drafts at that position in years.

btw, i'm glad we got neither one of those guys.

time for farmer to sit on his hands for a month.

  • Donte' Montgrief after the first round is a guy I'd draft before I'd think of Jackson - he's been linked

    to gangs. forget it.

  • Been reported we were in for Jacoby Jones and Desean Jackson .....does this mean that our front office does not really like the WR class in the draft and are looking more at FA for a compliment to Josh Gordon than drafting Watkins/Evans etc ......

It may not mean that they don't like this draft class....but if you can get a guy that is more proven they should think about going that route, rather than taking a risk on a Charles Rogers/David Heyward-Bey/Braylon Edwards etc. etc.

Proven ability often trumps potential....no matter how good you think someone may be.

New pic Gip, almost didnt recognize you.

  • I don't see it as the team not liking the WR talent in the draft, but rather doing their due diligence on availible talent. I think they want to add a veteran presence. Our oldest WR is Little and he is a guy I am sure the team is looking to replace asap.

well how good farmer thinks they are you mean?

edwards was a bum pic from the get go.

this WR class is off the chains.

I figured I would try a change of pace. Besides, in case anyone didn't know by now Tashaun and I have the same last name and first initial. I could end up going back.

I am not sure about the use of the metaphor "off the chains". Does that mean good, or bad. I assume good....and I guess the answer to that is: time will tell.

  • off the chains=off the charts. (gang related).

just saw parts of the stephen a smith and desean jackson interview...............jackson looks like such a fool. i guess if you dress up anyone and put fake glasses on them that that will make white bread america look at you differently?

    professor jackson. HA!

This doesn't help any better. Off the charts sounds bad to me. If a song is off the charts that means it went nowhere.

  • I love what Farmer did in free agency. Filled most of our gaping holes. Now were not drafting a guy to come in an be a savior. Were drafting a guy to come in and compete....you have to earn your playing time.
