  • Blake Jackson (TE):

    Strengths

Big, athletic-looking target with unique bulk and thickness. Works inside and posts up defenders. Can make the difficult snag.

    Weaknesses

Very marginal production. Has underachiever tendencies. Does not play with urgency and gives up on plays too easily. Not a consistent catcher and does not play with confidence. Shows only one gear. Ran a limited route tree with little polish. Straight-linish and tight-hipped.

    Draft Projection

    Undrafted free agent

    Bottom Line

Good-sized, athletic, underachieving, college receiver who saw a diminished role in a spread offense as a senior. Best chance in the pros might come proving that he could handle H-Back responsibilities.

This guy had rally good production in 2012, but nothing after 3 games in 2013. I guess he had some sort of major injury. His Teammate DT Barnett was all Big 12 the past two seasons. Big run stuffer type of player.

  • Pumped about Crowell, he had the talent to be a 3rd or 4th Rounder

    Tate, West, Obi, and Crowell

  • We have a shitload of RB's now going to camp. what is the normal # of RB's typical at camp?

I'm expecting us to start cutting lose RB on the roster in the next few days. We can agree to contracts with UDFA right now even without the room on the roster (or so I believe) as long as we end up making the room for them before they actually put pen to paper.

  • S Robert Nelson - Arizona St, just added to front page.

6 INT last season, ran a 4.4 at his pro day, all Big 12 Selection.

  • with everyone on the list....... other than Jones I have no idea who they are. Any good insight from any of you who WATCHED them play? I can read their profiles online and strengths and weaknesses.. What are your guys thoughts?

Farmer is the shit. If the Gordon news hadn't sobered us we'd be talking about what a credible job this guy did first time out of the chute.

We have our shit together ... and a common plan and direction for once.

  • Quite the long list. If we can pull 3+ players that serve as depth anf can play special teams, and at least 1 #3 or better WR, paired with our draft, I'll bump a B/B+ draft grade to an A.

  • knew the UDFA list was going to be big. glad we have Farmer

  • I really like the Connor Shaw signing. Those of you in the Tavern this morning know I'm diggin' this signing. 😎

  • Kenny G to Minnesota, for those who care. Good for him for being recognized.

  • Updated front page with more confirmed signing and camp invites.

  • Isaiah Crowell was so beast at Georgia. Great signing.
