Have seen the first two episodes of this new AMC series. The first was mundane and predictable. Second episode introduced some unexpected plot twists that will have me tuned in for episode 3.

What's the deallyo with the amount of recent decent flicks/miniseries with Texas settings?

Story is pure fiction with no relation to Job. Story set in "Silicon Prairie of Texas" circa 1983

It is reminiscent of the dawning days of apple

Early man walked away as modern man took control. Their minds weren't all the same and to conquer was their goal. So He built his great empires and he slaughtered his own kind, and he died a confused man and killed himself in his own mind...

No,,there was a semi autibiographical movie about Steve Jobs a couble years ago..The lead charactor played by Lee Pace is a visionary and the son of the owner of IBM... he strikes out on his own to create his vision of the first portable PC. thats what the series is centered around..I happen to like the show.
