I guess it could be worse...

Logo simply would not have been tolerated.

Jim Brown would have personally ripped every one of them off... with his mind!

I do kinda like the black grill...

The "ran-out-of-paint" look? Not so much...

Looks their brown hair is being windblown back toward the facemask. Nah.

Looks like the guys wearing the helmet are battle hardened and came ready to do business, not worry about looking good. Kinda like it.

Source, Walter. About what I expected out of Nike.

I'll be buying my custom jersey before the new ones come out- (my old one is just about shot) got a feeling I won't care for a Nike atrocity.

We already knew no logo on the helmet, the Browns have been adamant about it.

Is the orange/metallic sheen what it is going to look like, or is that an artifact of the 3d rendering? Either way, I like it.

I am a fan of the classics. Not digging the new helmet design.

everything except the effect of dirt on the lower back of helmet is fine.

anything black on the orange helmet starts getting into the bengals territory and we can't have that.

the metallic orange sheen is fine as is the black grill.

Look again, the grill and dirt effect are dark brown, not black. Compare them to the chin strap, which is black. Your monitor might have calibration issues if it looks black to you.

The grill is definitely dark brown. Helmet and grill design look cool to me. The brown smudge is a little meh.

my monitor(s) (multiple are just fine dicko, i'm a graphic artist) i barely looked at the pic since the thing that grabbed my attention was the mud on the back of the helmet.

but thanks for pointing that out. now go back and play with your dell.

I prefer the current helmet design to this one but at the same time it could be worse. The metallic look is alright. I would like to see the other 4 designs to compare.

    extra?

telling an artist or photographer that he doesn't know how to calibrate his monitors is like telling a chef he over cooked your steak. expect your response with a little somethin extra on it (if ya know what i mean).

but extra? nah. just the same old grumpy lump.

Did you think he may not know you're an artist or photographer? And is just trying to help a random guy on the interweb?

OK, this appears to have a "pre-scuffed mark" about it. Is that a fashion statement kinda like pre-washed jeans that already come with holes that you pay like a hundred fifty bucks for?

Speaking of Scotland, haven't seen Kmac on the Board lately. Is he coming in this week?
