So the Browns draft Justin Gilbert at #8 and Pierre Desir at 127th overall. Desir started last week and held Kelvin Benjamin to 5 catches, 47 yards and no touchdowns. Not bad for this rookie from a small school. A bright spot to look forward to next year. Depth at cornerback.

Dansby and Haden need to take him under their wing. He sounds like he's wiling to learn. Dansby said that Gilbert hasn't approached him or Haden but this guy is young and hungry. Great pick.

the draft is a crap shoot as we have proven over and over. If Desir proves to be the better, it matters not whether he was drafted low, high or a UDFA as long as he's on our team.

Good to see Desir coming along nicely. I really liked us taking a chance on him. Glad he's taking advantage of the opportunity like it means something to him.
