    Gipper picks next 2 ........

    Gipper picks next 2 ........

That came up quick.....I will be posting in a few minutes after I do my checking on needs and availabilities.

OK...having picked an OG in round 2, the Panthers still need to shore up that line:

The Carolina Panthers select: Austin Shepard OT Alabama.

  • The same philosophy applies to the Bucs as to the Panthers. Need to shore up an OL that will protect a hopefully franchise QB.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers select: Mark Glowinski OG WEST....by God....Virginia

In this case, having taken Winston #1 overall, I am going to bring him not only OL protection, but someone he should be highly comfortable with: an FSU teammate:

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers select: OG Josue Matias Florida State

Try again Gipper-he done gone in the 3rd rd.

What I am looking at for my ratings...CBS Sports or NFLDraftscouting.com has Shepard as an OT...I had already picked an OG for Carolina AJ Cann. So, yea, I have him at OT.

I guess the best I can say is that he may be versatile.

And draftek rates him pretty highly as a convert to guard.

And a little less so as a RT

    So yes, another versatile OLineman.

WTF happened to you? It was your turn, you posted....but you asked everyone else to do your research for you. Why didn't you just ask out and let someone else handle the pick if you were going to back out for 4 hours.

Calm down. People had been posting it throughout the draft, they just hadn't in several picks.

    JJmac, thanks.
