  • What would you give up for him?

  • Traded to Seahawks

  • Worlds gone mad....its fun watching these big players moving knowing we will never sign anyone like this

  • The Seahwaks get: Jimmy Graham and a 4th

The Saints get: Max Unger and a 1st

  • You almost never see trades like this in the NFL......that is more of a baseball thing. But it is interesting.

  • All these trades are crazy. Seems like a lot of big names are on the move. Too bad none of them will be coming here. IMO

We do? Who in hell are you talking about? McCown and Hartline? P-shaw.

And guess who that may put in at center for the Seahawks. Yep, former Cleveland Browns practice squad player Patrick Lewis. Too bad he was picked off before Mack went down.

  • This is a huge score for the seahawks. Elite TE like graham is rare and a game changer.

Let's look at the top 3 TE in the game. Gronk, Graham and JThomas. Now the question is, are they just a byproduct of the offense that they are in? Look no further than Bree and Brady's numbers last season without Gronk and Graham. Pretty obvious these guys play a vital role the success of their respective offenses.

While I see a gap between the top two and Thomas, that is the list. If Thomas has the same production in JAX, then the gap goes away. What I find interesting is how very different the top two are style-wise, one gazelle and one bruiser. Thomas is a bit of a hybrid.

Anyway... I think Seattle is taking a bit of a risk here on a couple fronts. First, Jimmy has a bit of injury history including the dreaded concussion syndrome. Second, bringing in a high priced, name player might upset some of the home grown folks, especially those that have taken a bit less salary so their fellow home grown buds could get theirs..

Novel take... I'd forgotten all about their "poach" of Lewis. Unger's injuries handed Lewis three starts in 2014. Obviously he did well.

  • saints needed more help than their draft could give them. get the big money guy out of there and replenish with depth and some good picks.

let's see how graham does in a tougher division than the NFC south.
