Haloti Gnata traded to Detroit.

  • If anyone thinks the Browns could have pulled off this deal you are nuts. No way the Ravens trade Ngata to anyone in the AFC North.

Certainly not. You don't deal with your rivals.....though the Browns and Steelers did make a trade a couple of years ago....but those were for picks, not players.

But you can "cherry pick" FAs from your rivals......which is why I say look into getting Worilds from Pitt.

    Ironic,

seeing as how we are the ones who traded with the Ravens to land them Gnata in the fist place. 😵

Like I said, Browns have traded for picks (and that is what we traded to Balt), but not for proven bodies.

But....now....I guess we can say that the stench of the Kameron Wembley trade is gone?

We faced him 18 times, he was a 5 time All-Pro and a Super Bowl Champion ... and we never learned how to spell his name.

This one hurts, yes he is older, but he was had for nearly worthless picks. =(

The Ravens weren't going to trade him in division in a million years as has already been pointed out by numerous people.

Pretty sure he is a lineman not a QB, and I think we toss a 3 at him, and they would have considered it. That rule only applies when you are talking about WR, RB, QB etc. Unless he is JJ Watt (which he isn't) I bet they would have considered us.

Well I'm not too worked up about this free agency shit but that's one player I'd have liked to have. Probably not so much if I had to give up picks but...

    I doubt it.

If he was a free agent, then yes we should have pursued him.

Usually, you don't trade proven talent within the division.
