  • I'd do it for the 19th pick in a heartbeat. I'd do it for 12th and 19th if the Saints threw us back some 2nd/3rd rounders.

    But this will never happen, so I'm not even going to get my hopes up.

    Why would the Saints want to trade him? Do they think the 4th leading QB in yards passing ever is done at age 36? Favre, Manning, Marino only ahead of him.

    Why do we want another 36-37 year old QB? That is certainly not planning for the future.

    Can't see our interest here being real... Maybe before we signed McCown, but not now.

    Yep....I can see the sT Aints just deciding 'now is the time' and tearing down to start over......

    They aren't going anywhere soon and Brees has value.....with 2 firsts already in the tank right now, they could add to that by trading him and have an opportunity to almost reload in one draft.....

    I would love to get Brees for a few years.....I believe we'd be instant contenders...

  • Did anyone notice Brees record in outdoor games? I don't think the stadium is enclosed yet and Brees is strictly an indoor QB

    LOL, we already picked up a 35 year old geezer in McCown.The future isn't now-and may never will be.

    I'll take a fading Brees over any of our qbs. In fact- I'll trade ALL of them to the Saints- plus a second round pick for Brees.
