Never happen. Brees is a good guy, etc but I don't see him as a "mentor" type to someone like JFF.

Highly doubt it, Brees is old and declining. It would be insane to give 1 first rounder let alone 2.

Why would the Saints want to trade him? Do they think the 4th leading QB in yards passing ever is done at age 36? Favre, Manning, Marino only ahead of him.

Why do we want another 36-37 year old QB? That is certainly not planning for the future.

Let's not over react to some tweeter message that, likely, has little substance to it.

The rumored price is way out of line and, IMHO, it should be immediately dismissed by the Browns FO. Unless the FO is completely intent on being the laughing stock of the NFL and completely drain dead.

I'll believe this when I see it.

On the other hand, if there are other moving pieces.................who knows.

I'd do it for the 19th pick in a heartbeat. I'd do it for 12th and 19th if the Saints threw us back some 2nd/3rd rounders.

But this will never happen, so I'm not even going to get my hopes up.

Same reason they traded the game's premier TE... Cap room.

2014 showed the team needs an overhaul and they are not going to rebuild around a 36-yo QB.

Yep....I can see the sT Aints just deciding 'now is the time' and tearing down to start over......

They aren't going anywhere soon and Brees has value.....with 2 firsts already in the tank right now, they could add to that by trading him and have an opportunity to almost reload in one draft.....

I would love to get Brees for a few years.....I believe we'd be instant contenders...

LOL, we already picked up a 35 year old geezer in McCown.The future isn't now-and may never will be.

I'll take a fading Brees over any of our qbs. In fact- I'll trade ALL of them to the Saints- plus a second round pick for Brees.
