    They could give him a work out. Alex Smith doesn't throw much to the wide receivers and Bowe had no touchdowns last year. They should also workout Cecil Shorts.

    Actually been in the league 8 years and last season had 60 catches on 95 targets for 12.6 ypc

    Hawkins the Browns leading receiver 63 catches on 112 targets for 13.1 ypc

  • Stevie Johnson was cut by the 9ers, I think he has more upside than Bowe at this point plus he is two years younger

    i ripped him one pre-season when someone mentioned him and he killed it inthe fantasy league.

    1) do i like him? no.

    2)do i want him on the browns? no.

    3) will he do good this year? probably. (see #'s 1 and 2)

  • Looks like we need a solid wide out and Bowe fits that role (so says the LSU grad)

    We have to find a tight end and a good offensive lineman (Collins).

    Now since my wife will not allow Sunday ticket in the house (I'd still like to get laid) I'm stuck with watching Hoyer - again - (16 weeks of Texans games) unless he gets beat out - and getting pissed off all over again.

  • Browns are supposedly talking with Bowe.....wonder why nothing with Miles?....you'd think there'd be something......

  • Bowe has played 8 seasons. Other than 1 year when he was injured for much of it, he has always had over 55 catches for at least 650 yards. He hasn't been the star he was in 2010 and 2011 the past few years, but he'd probably immediately be our best WR if we sign him... Plus, a change of scenery might be good for him.
