  • I am assuming there are some men out there qualified to be a GM at some level. some extremely qualified who don't feel like a full time job at this point in their career. Could any of these gentlemen be hired as a consultant, get in tune with what Farmer would plan or do during that time and act as a proxy if need be?

    Steve,

Farmer already had hired Bill Kuharich, who had been GM at KC & a long time exec, as his right hand man. I'm sure we'll not skip a beat during Farmer's absence.

Fair enough. Any idea on the punishment for the two other rinky dink infractions in Atlanta and New England?

Falcons have been fined $350,000 and will forfeit their fifth-round selection in the 2016 Draft.

NOTHING is being said about the Pats. Fucking bullshit. Richard Sherman was right.

So the NFL decided to leave that part out of their official statement? As did the browns in their response statement? Bullshit.

That was a joke. The tweet implies that the Browns will be punished by not having Farmer suspended during the first round.

If the Browns fired every GM after one/two years w/out letting them develop talent and implement their plan, they'd be the Browns.

How about baby shanny? He had his phone on his person, turned on and checked the incoming text... Where's baby shanny's punishment?? ( Same place the Pats' punishment is)

Maybe I missed the joke, but does anyone else find it funny that this is a tweet from a former Browns board member?

As for the Brownsn; this is good news. As for Atlanta; it could have been worse. As for the Patriots; Nothing will happen until after the draft. For all we know, Tom Brady himself could have let the air out of those footballs and yet it's taking so long I suspect a complete cover up.

happy to see the NFL administer a fair penalty.....and that they punished one of the perps, instead of the entire fan base...

Looks like Goodell read my memo.....πŸ˜‰

I think it was fair. You're right Mudfly, they didn't penalize the fans.

so what you're saying is that this whole situation is shanahans fault? Classic. I never read any word that Shanahan actually checked his phone during the game maybe he checked it after the game. Like I said the Browns lost a good offensive coordinator other than that water under the bridge cares

As good a result as one could've hoped for. Money is a drop in the bucket and you don't need a GM on site for the game.

How many more Fickin Times can you watch, 1st and 2nd Down, We are going to run Right. Ok 3rd and 7, Where's my 5 yard pass pattern. Glad Shanny got what he Deserved, Wined his way out of Cleveland and got to a team that got his Draft pick Taken Too. Good Radiance you candy ass..
