Browns add RB Noah Herron

[Mr. T]

CLEVELAND -- Two days after losing third-down back Jason Wright, the Browns signed Tampa Bay free agent running back Noah Herron.

Herron, 26, was a seventh-round draft pick of the Steelers in 2005 and has also played for Green Bay and Tampa Bay.

Herron, 5-11 and 225 pounds, has rushed for 273 yards and three touchdowns in 23 career games.

Coincidentally, Herron was a college teammate of Wright's at Northwestern from 2001 to '04.

Gotta love the Bedpost Warrior.

[Mr. T]

Atleast he knows how to get into the endzone!

Not an impressive signing here in the least as a 7th rounder you could hold opens and get a better prospect of course he does have a little nfl experience..

This is the first singing that I can honestly say I think was a complete mistake.

[Mr. T]

Lets hope he was Cheep!

Relax. He is a camp body with actual NFL experience. You know he was cheap. He has a bit of talent...runs ok and catches well. He's worth bringing into camp.

I would imagine that his contract is only guaranteed if he makes the final roster. So, what do you lose. There could be a small bonus but he has to make the team.

That being said, he is a step up from Jason Wright. Plays better special teams, is a good blocker and can play H-back. Maybe a little stronger running between the tackles then Wright. He is worth bringing to camp.

What Y-town said....agree completely
