Ray's and Pet's Day One Presser

Tour2ma

Expected unity and reserve... Pet seemed especially loose.

Came away with the feeling that they might have been targeting Scherff.

No one asked about passing on Shane Ray... but not as if they'd have really answered beyond "we got the guy we wanted."

I got the distinct impression of "we got the guys we were hoping for, and I don't care if people are crying about not getting Mariota or whoever"

Good stuff

If they we're targeting Schreff then remind me to send a thank you card to Dan Snyder and an apology card to Skins fans.

Also got the feeling we might not be done drafting O-linemen...

This galvanizes the belief that Farmer and Pettine are serious about building through the draft. Now I am a believer after years of misery. With 8 more picks it will be very interesting. GO BROWNS

Thanks, Haslam!

We finally have a GM who agrees with me: WR are nothing but shiny hood ornaments.

Great stuff! I as most of you feel we have finally got it right with our staff. Build thru the draft, won't be done over night but a year or two, watch out.
