So Much For A Definitive Decision

  • Ray Farmer gets a 4 game suspension for texting and Brady probably gets a slap on the wrist.

    Somethings wrong with that picture.

  • Smoking herb: 4-game suspension.

Sending text messages to coaches from the owners box: 4-game suspension.

Purposefully deflating the game balls to gain a competitive advantage on the field of play in the AFC Championship game: ...

It is my opinion that what the Patriots did was far more egregious than the other violations that I noted. It has been determined that Tom Brady was probably at fault. For being "probably" at fault I suggest that Brady should get suspended for the first Eight games of the year. If it was determined that he was indeed at fault I'd suggest suspending him for a year.

This violation tears at the fabric of integrity of the NFL. It is no small matter. As such, the punishment must be severe.

  • you guys are barking at the wrong cloud. the patriots are the new cowboys. america's team.

best coach. best org. best owner.

what do you really think will happen?

they're all laughing on their way to the bank, just like that scumbag mayweather. as much as you hate the fuck, he always wins.

  • Well you have to admit they are blessed more than any other team. First the Tuck rule that cheated the Raiders out of a Super Bowl, Spygate and now this. And don't forget the "illegal legal" formation that caused the Ravens to unravel in the playoff game leading to deflate gate.

What's next? Selling their souls to Satan?

McNally: Tom told me to call this number to guarantee another Super Bowl

    Jastremski: what is it?

    McNally: 666-6666

Jastremski: What's in it for us?

McNally: An official NFL Spygate camera autographed by Bellichek, One dozen under-inflated balls autographed by Tom Brady, The corked bat autographed by Albert Belle, One used billy club autographed by Tanya Harding, A case of used steroid needles autographed by Roger Clemmons, Alex Rodriguez and Barry Bonds

    Browns have just as many.

And if you count the AAFC we have twice as many.

But keep running after that front-running chuck wagon.

I'm good with being a Browns fan.

  • I imagine Aaron Rodgers is next then.

  • Brady should be banned for the year

I hate the Patriots just as much as anyone but both of these things you've described were perfectly legal within the NFL rules at the time. The tuck rule wasn't called a lot but it was the right call (I know that may break hearts but it's true). The formation thing was clearly a loophole but again, totally within the rules.

Let's stick more to the fact that they have twice now broken the rules to gain an advantage.

  • Good job by Adam making it seem like there's news, when what he said is already known.

  • Name 5 NFL teams named after Big Cats ...Lions, Panthers, Jaguars, Bengals and the New England Cheetah's

    boys for too much longer.

He got em past the draft, though, and the playoffs. I bet

Brady gets suspended for two games after he retires.

    Gettin worse:
