i'm no expert but the fact no other team offered him a deal meant he fell back to the browns.
i think they are in negotiation mode where he is guaranteed a certain amount of pay based on some nonsense but i doubt he signs anything when he wants more money.

farmer and pettine love the DB position. you could have said (and i did) that that position was the most stacked the browns had prior to the draft, yet they still drafted that position. gipson proved to be a great player last year but the injury might have the FO wondering if he'll be back to same level of performance.
i'd love to see the browns sign him but i wouldn't put it past farmer and co. to let him walk. i.e. the patriots, steelers, seahawks etc......
