While he was obviously not hurt by the girl's punch...
And while he should have just walked away from the situation...
There is clearly a double standard at play here....
The girl could just as easily be charged with assault....
And the fact that she struck first can be argued to be either A. self defense or B. provocation....
Each of which could mitigate any legal penalties he could face, but....
That has no bearing on the action taken by FSU...
They are free to suspend him or kick him out if they choose.

Well F.S.U. may had been afraid to get another Jameis Winston on their need like this guy. Who was giving them headaches off the field, not on in it. So they had to get rid of him.

Not true.
I was at a party one time. A bunch of guys told some girl, that I egged her house, which I didn't, they actually did the egging, but she believed them.
This girl walked up behind me and sucker puched me in the face. She reached around me and closed fist punched me in my mouth.
I didn't know that it was a women that hit me, I didn't see her
But ,I swung around and decked her dumbass.
