Or, have background checks, and government programs to teach
murderers to not murder with knives,
and they will use something else as a weapon.
No, wait, just outlaw all knives, unless they are only a molded piece of soft plastic, only one inch long.

Or, you could let decent people have ccw, and watch how the murder rate drops.
