That would be until Griffin gets hurt. Which might be sooner rather than later. Griffin has a Sam Bradford body.

I still say keep McCown.....and Shaw on the Taxi Squad.

We need to get Wisniewski at center next .....

Hell, maybe it's Karma. He was set to come here till DC sold the farm for him. He won 14 games in 4 years and McCown won the same in 14 years. He knows the Browns will likely take a qb at 2 as well. He stated that he's fine with that and would work with the kid any way he can. RG3 is not stupid and has a pretty good work ethic. I'm hopeful

That would be nice. Has there been any movement on him? I haven't heard much of anything regarding his free agency.

I though you guys might find this read interesting. It has me leaning towards the Goff side of the fence.... I hope RG was studying defensive tendencies while he was sitting on the bench... More of the above.

That's odd. I read it, and it has me leaning even further towards Wentz.... and I was already there.

After watching Wentz's pro day.... Wentz is more agile and elusive in the pocket ...(quicker feet), and

he can throw way down the field with oomph behind it. Goff doesn't have that strong of an arm.

An all upside, high ceiling signing that didn't cost us a single pick. If he returns to his rookie form, the Browns will win some games and be competitive. I see no downside to this signing, and will be rooting for him

Also, if Hue is really as good as all of us hope he is, then I'm betting on RGIII to have a chance of being NFL comeback player of the year.

for a team that has gone through 3-4 starting qbs a year for the past several years, there can be a lot said about needing cannon fodder too.

I am all for this signing. It has good upside and very little if any downside. Hell this is a guy that a team gave 3 first round picks for. If he were a rookie and we compared his college career, combine and pro day with Wentz and Goff he would be rated above both of them by far. If he recovers to his rookie season form we are golden and if not we cut him loose year 2.

Sounds like you and the Browns have a lot in common. And I am not sure you are right about that 2 year rule.

Once again that Browns make the worst move they could. We got rid of a dumb fuck that could not stay healthy bad in for the team and he sucked at the position sooooo what do the Browns do they get another dumb fuck that sucks bad in the locker room and can't stay healthy so once again the Browns have wrote off another season to sale jerseys and not win games I really think they don't want to win so as Browns fan it's time to stop saying well he could be good or let's see it's time to stop going to the games and not buy merchandise a complete boycott of these stupid fucking dumdasses

Well there goes the 2nd pick going for a qb maybe a good thing. J. Ramsey is the solid choice here right now.

Neither love nor hate this addition. He's cheap if he's your starter. If they draft a QB with #2 I don't think that is a great idea. I would have preferred Kaerpernik over RGIII but the Browns are cheap.

Not so fast our friend. It's a fragile RG3 for 2 years not Johnny Unites. Hues a QB guy & these 2 guys at #2 will not happen next year. If Hue Jackson likes either one, Hue's our best car salesman on the team to sell Sashi..

I still think if you had a QB at the top of your draft before this signing, that he should remain there.

Difficult to not at least be a little excited about this signing. Would it be unfair to say that he's the best we've seen at the position in a long long time?

If they grab their QB in the first round, couple him with Griffin, I would have to believe that the Browns will finally have (between the two of them) the position need finally figured out for the next decade.

and what if RG3 just still sucks and you don't pick the QB at #2?

shame. shame . shame on you FO. it would be unforgivable at this point of 23 QBs since '99 not to secure your future at that position.

All of Hue's talk has been about how RG3 is well aware that they very likely will be bringing in a rookie this year as well. I haven't heard about Hue or Sashi attending any other QBs pro days other than Wentz and Goff.
