RIP Muhammad Ali

Just got a notification that Muhammad Ali passed away at 74 years of age. Great boxer & man of conviction, he will be missed.
I am a Vietnam Vet & he was a man who stood by his religious convictions against war & paid a dear price for those convictions. While we had different beliefs, I admire the fact that, instead of fleeing the country like a coward, he stood by his convictions & refused induction into the Army. He was then stripped of his heavyweight title. He was certainly a man of courage who earned my admiration.

I was too young to remember the draft dodging or whatever some might call it. But was old enough to watch the wide world of sports. He was an icon.
