The "QB Jersey" is being Retired

‘Bye-bye bad juju:’ that infamous Browns’ quarterback jersey is being retiredPosted 7:38 pm, June 20, 2016, by Ann Domeck, Updated at 07:40pm, June 20, 2016
CLEVELAND – Clevelanders know “that quarterback jersey.”
It’s the one with the names of all of the Browns’ 24 starting quarterbacks since 1999 trailing down its back. Way down its back.
Tim Brokaw, of the ad agency Brokaw, Inc. created the jersey and has had it on display in the window of the agency on West 6th Street. It’s been a testament to Cleveland fans’ long suffering over the lack of a major league sports championship since 1964.
But that all changed Sunday, June 19th when the Cleveland Cavaliers became the 2016 NBA Champions.
And that’s when Brokaw decided that all the “bad juju” should be banished from Cleveland. He posted on social media that the jersey would now go into retirement. He also posted a picture of the jersey – but now all those names are blacked out!
Bye-bye bad juju! CLE is not sorry to see you go!

My train rides to The Land just won't be the same without the bar hop & the walk of shame to see JuJu. Farewell old friend & do what old jerseys do in retirement..Oh Shit, whats a poor JuJu to do in retirement with a tail of names like that? At least rent him out for emergency wedding gown needs at Game day parking lot weddings
..Farewell JuJu -

They ran out of room.

Frankly it's great that the Cavaliers won but I don't think it has Jack shit to do with the quarterback jersey. If the guy wants to take it down it's hi prerogative.
I actually hope somebody else resurrectseems it.

Glad to see it gone. We all know of the Browns failure since coming back in the league in 99 to get a franchise QB. I personally don't need a memorial or shrine to constantly remind me. It's good to get a new start sometimes and the Cavs history making NBA championship for Cleveland is as good of reason as any.

I say keep it there until the Browns win the championship. Then burn it on the 50 yard line!

We're on to the world series, then the super bowl - can't stop this train.
It all started with the Lake Erie monsters.

By the way, the last year that Cleveland also won a Calder Cup? 1964.
Serendipity.
And FYI, the Monsters had more in attendance for their Calder Cup win than the Penguins had for their win.

Holy cow!! That would destroy what Pittsburgh had!
I guess because in Pitt they're acting like they've been there before.

Umm no Zombo... not serious about who would draw the most attendance at a parade. I suppose I should be adding a few of these
, or
or,
because the exclamation marks should have gave it away. Not serious:
