I suspect you are right. Where the hell was the team MD before he went back on the field with one arm dangling?

I'm not sure how RG3 is part of any equation where the outcome is "hope"

That will be great if RG3 can throw the ball all the way from the orthopedic Ward at the University Hospital.

I hate to say it but if Josh watched the game there's a good chance he rolled one before the end of the game.

    rolled what, his eyes?

dude, rg3 got rocked on the sidelines. the defender hit him right in the chin, looked down as he thought griffin was hurt or even knocked out and people were talking about the shoulder? he better find his head.

No worries.....JG has already proven he doesnt even need a QB to be great....

But....imagine if he DID have a real QB throwing to him.....just dreams, wishes and unicorns......

It looks like rg is on his way to being a career backup qb. At least we're good at that. Jg and clean pee won't help unless he can be qb,.hmmmm Gordon to Pryor with a kicker blocking. Or is that just too anal-lytical?

How bout we go find a real QB?

I'm liking what Jimmy G is showing in NE.

I always ask Santa for a franchise qb. But coal, coal, coal is all that ever turns up

  • Will Gordon pass all his wiz quiz before then?

Oh God that actually made me laugh at this whole screwball situation.

Funny thing I was thinking earlier if his roomie JM would be actually, possibly, hypothetically throwing the passes. .......Nevermind too crazy even here.

rg3 was a gimped up qb to begin with...are you kidding...2 serious knee surgeries...he is also an eggshell in that other parts of his body cannot take a hit without serious consequences...if that was big ben taking that hit, he shakes it off and is still slingin it...same with many other qb's...not saying that was a light hit but cmon man. Last i saw on espn scroll bar on breaking news was that he may miss the whole season and won't be evaluated until 8weeks...are you kiddin me...Here is a qb who not including the 1st game this yr, that if he is gone all yr, will not have played in 2yrs on top of being injury prone..To your point, I don't take him even as a back up....

pats won't give him up unless they get like 50 first round picks...Difference with our organization and theirs is that they are smart and we are fucking stupid...

    Two words: Matt Cassell

It only took a 2nd rounder for KC to pry Matt away... and that deal included Mike Vrabel.

"They were disappointed," Reiss said of the fans' reaction to sending Cassel and Vrabel to KC for a second round pick. "They had visions of maybe a first round pick, multiple firsts. They were disappointed it was only a second round pick and Mike Vrabel, one of the great Patriots of the last decade of the championship run, was included in the trade. They thought it was a fleece job.

A lot depends on the remainder of Jimmy's "audition"... and Tom Terrific's subsequent return performance... but it is hard to see the Pats committing to Jimmy this year. And unless they do I think Garrapolo will become available and it won't take a first to get him.

Past is prologue. Jimmy is under contract thru 2017. The Pats don't like negotiating under the gun of impending FA and they won't commit to a big deal with a backup QB. They'll cash out and find a new QB prospect to develop.
