    Kessler and Hogan backing up...with someone not on the roster currently as the 3rd guy would be my guess if Josh can't go. Which I think anyone who watched that game has to think is likely that Josh was playing through a serious shoulder injury today. No question how tough the dude is.....much respect for how hard he plays.

    mccown deserves better...he is a tough dude as you say. too bad the team overall sucks. particularly the ol....which is why he probably will be out for quite a while...mud's 0-16 prediction looks pretty good now...

    Though I think he would suffer the same fate as McCown and RG3 if he was to take snaps behind our line.

    The Vikings may go out of house to find a full-in at quarterback, but veteran Jason Campbell wonโ€™t be an option for them. Campbell intends to stay retired, as Tom Pelissero of USA Today Sports tweets.

    Doesn't sound like Jason Campbell is in play for #Vikings. Played in Norv's scheme in 2013, but he's retired, has turned down other offers.

    Campbell played in Norv Turnerโ€™s scheme in 2013 while with the Browns. However, it sounds like the former signal caller is content in retirement.

    In June 2015, Campbell reportedly decided to call it a career, though he never made his retirement official. Since then, several teams including the Colts and Cowboys have tried โ€“ unsuccessfully โ€“ to get Campbell to return to football. At this point, it sounds like Campbell may be done with football for good.

  • Yes, I remember that, but it's one thing to come out of retirement for a team you never played for, it's another for your former HC who had you playing the best football of your career. Still, chances are <5% at best.
