I'll say this about this whole Iran thing, this will be a point that will either sway me towards this administration or away from it. It's not the only point but the handling of this is important to me.
This is a decision (if it's military action) that should involve our Congress and Senate. Per the Constitution, it must involve the Congress and Senate. If the President takes action without Congress or Senate that to me is maintaining the status quo.
I'll also say that if planning hasn't already started it needs to start yesterday. I do not want to have another Korean or Vietnam War. There must be a strategic plan from start to finish (from invasion to withdrawal).
This was our biggest mistake in Iraq and Afghanistan. In pure Vietnam fashion we would capture provinces and towns only to leave them for the enemy to recapture. I can not support anymore military action that follows that strategy or lack there of.
