I remember this kid from two years ago when Pettine played him during pre season. I think he got hurt and they waived him. In any case, i remember thinking the kid was a beast but prob would do better in a 4-3. Well i guess someone thought the same.

Wasn't Dylan on IR/PUP throughout 2016? I know I saw his name on that list a few times during the season.
Looks like he was on the payroll about 3/4's of the 2016 season.

So, what position is this guy supposed to play?
Ah....wait, I see....he is a DE. Well then, we won't be having any need to draft Garrett then, will we?

He's a project no doubt, doesnt mean we dont take garett or allen. But he's a guy that can play both DE and DT. He's a big, strong fast kid. Why he stood out to me was how ge stonewalled at the point and powered around the edge. Mind you i was watching kruger either get bumped off atbthe line by a TE or getting ridden around the 3 pt line with no chance of being even in spitting distance of the QB.
The next year in preseason i watched "blood bath" go nowhere in our 4 man fronts and i was like why not bring that wynn kid back if ur gonna take an olb'er like soloman and put his hands down all the time.
This is why the concept of the hybrid defense bothers me. Accumulate talent for one scheme and try to run the best base scheme that you can for a few years....than try some new stuff. But using soloman as a DE and kruger as an olb'er is just pure shit and we saw the proof of it.
Wynn could be very good depth for us if not beat out ogbah or nassib. What i saw of him 3 years ago he looked stronger than nassib and ogbah did last year. If he's gotten any better he could compete for a major secondary role or even starter. We'll see
