Draft : Biggest Hope, Biggest Fear

The Browns Board
36 21 1.1k
  • My biggest hope in this draft is we get a top player dropping to us at 12 ( Adams, Hooker )

My biggest fear is we reach for a quarterback who is not a 1st round talent ....basically all of them ...wait for next year for the QB as 3 or 4 QB's will be genuine 1st round talents ....we will probably be picking 1-5 next year ....so grabbing one wont be a problem

  • Biggest hope? Cheap beer.

Biggest fear? Running out of cheap beer.

  • My biggest hope is we draft extremely well, my biggest fear is business as usual.

  • Biggest fear is Browns being the Browns...

    No repeat of 2014 please.

  • Biggest hope?......Drafting Garrett with #1 pick

Biggest fear?........NOT drafting Garrett with #1 pick.

    Mike

  • Hope--the guy worth the 12th pick-----Jimmy Garopolo (end this madness with Brady's Jr.) Fear-----bumping into Jimmy Haslem at draft(won't be pretty & won't be the last one)

  • Hope Foster is there at 12 and we take him

Fearful we draft a backup QB in the first round

  • Biggest Hopes: An elite prospect falls to 12. We kill someone in a trade. We take one Michigan guy at any point

Biggest Fears: Taking a QB at 1 (or 12). Trading too much to move back up. Taking a HB early.

  • Biggest Hope: Frostie 'Rootbeer toast for every outstanding pick throughout the draft, picking

players the ratbirds, bengals and squealers wanted.

Biggest Fear: I have no fear - the Browns criteria now, speaks for them well.

  • Biggest Hope: That these two weeks go faster than the ones leading up to Xmas as a kid.

Biggest Fear: I get switches again draft night instead of presents. 😛

You are PERFECT for the Browns FO. Another fucking coward................. Let's WAIT WAIT WAIT......................

    Fucking idiot.

Lets trade the number 1 to Denver for Paxton Lynch

  • Biggest Hope: That my kids lead long healthy happy successful lives.

    Biggest Fear: That they don't

This football stuff is not worth enough to worry about hopes and fears about it.

Lol. Let's try his plan and draft a mediocre QB in a weak QB class NUMBER ONE overall instead of waiting for a much better class next year.

Gip, we would have to change the thread to "Kids: hopes and fears". If that were the case, my list would be three miles long. I have three girls.

Hope: draft two non-busts in first round (or more). Take Garrett.

Fear: draft two or more busts and not taking Garrett. Trading down again and getting fucked by yet another team.

As "someone" once said on another thread, stick to the topic. 😛

  • Biggest hope: that the Browns draft is so successful that this front office gets recognized as savvy, putting to rest the unnecessary bashing that they've received.

Biggest fear: that the Browns brain trust can't select the players that they want because they keep getting selected before Cleveland is on the clock.

  • Biggest hope: Browns open the season with a 51-0 win over Pittsburgh, like in 1989.

Biggest fear: Browns start the 2017 off shitty, and this board turns to 2018 draft talk in late October

Oh, OK, the topic was the Draft.

My biggest fear for the "draft" was that I would get drafted to go to Vietnam.

My biggest hope was that I would draw a high draft lottery number.

My biggest hope was fulfilled: I pulled a 292. That is like the only lottery I have won in my life.

    😮😁😎😳😵

I knew I was here way too late to be the first...

Not to mention moving it to The Barbershop... Has anyone even been in that section?

Ha! Beat ya... 332 here... IIRC

  • Not to mention moving it to The Barbershop... Has anyone even been in that section?

Seriously? There is often more interesting stuff in there than in here.

And can I assume that because of your intolerance for varying opinions, that you do not participate in the Political Forum?

(I do not because: A. If someone wants to discuss politics with me...they have to pay me to do so...as it is a part of my profession, and B. Because of that profession there are certain ethical restrictions on me associated with that area.
