Been waived by the Panthers, potential pick up at the free safety position?

I hear that the Browns ARE going to be picking up a veteran FA safety....name as yet unrevealed. Could be the guy.

Yea, I heard that the guy the Browns are supposed to pick up was basically a "journeyman". Not a career to write home about yet. Camp fodder? Or in the mix for a job, if it is this guy? Given what we have there, I say "in the mix".
