No, not ideal. But nfl football players are gonna get concussions. And since they did away with the smelling salts and brought in Dr.'s...they're gonna be held out of games. There will probably be a guy with a concussion listed on the injury report for one team or the other for each game.
It's the - 21'st century - right thing to do.
I know they're working on a flexible helmet...but in reality, the helmet would have to be larger than a beach ball to make a real difference.
