WHAT happened to Gary Bringbrige

I don't think anything happened to him, he just got old with a ton of NFL miles on him so they let him go.
-
I assume you mean Gary Barnidge?
-
Easy...
- We cut him.
- Folks here cried about how we fucked up.
- No team has given him a job.
- He's sitting by a phone.

He wouldn’t do any better than Devalve.
-
With our receivers having such a difficult time catching passes would he not be able to do better

Not really...since he's a TE and not a WR .....and that is where our problem lies.....
I say we are much better off with Devalve and Njoku getting the ball.....they catch just as well, can run better and have a future going forward....Barny?....is/was at the end.....

Gary had a 7% drop rate in 2016.
Devalve's 2016 rate was 0%... he's dropped 2 this year.
Njoku's dropped 1.
Telfer's yet to drop one... very limited targets.

I still think barnidge would be our best reveiver if he was here right now. Problem is he's not a jimmy graham type that u can feature as ur star receiver essentially. To work our off around him wouldnt work. They'd just cover him like a blanket knowing he's the only one who can catch, and dare kizer to throw over the top to wr's that have a ~35% chance if catching the ball IF kizer gets it on target.....which is a big if. Kid has a cannon he hasnt quite learned how to control yet
