It helps when you have a QB.

The Browns passing offense is 32nd in the NFL .http://www.footballoutsiders.com/stats/teamoff

Preaching to the choir about a QB. Britt wanted out and became locker room cyanide in order to get his way.

  • Britt will do well in New England, simply because if he doesn't, he will have to deal with God ( Belichik ). Exactly, what has been already said. He was here to get a paycheck...nothing more. He didn't give a rat's butt about catching passes or winning. I'm thrilled the loser is gone.

And so the Hoorta excuses start. Look dude, the Browns and this Dorsey axxhole are going to get another bitchslapping with Britt. If, as axxhole Dieken (a BIG part of why the Browns suck) says Britt is cancer, Belichik wouldn't bother with him. Belichik is a man of great accomplishment, he doesn't  " bring people in to take a look at them". Hoorta, you gave me this same bullschidt with Belichik took Dillon. On and on and on you went about how Belichik is going to learn something.. and what happened................. Dillion went to 2 Superbowls and was a great asset.

Make no mistake, Belichik will wipe his a$$ with Dorsey on this Britt acquisition.

It amazes me, the guy is the greatest football coach of all time, FAR FAR better than Paul Brown, and STILL, you think you are going to teach him something, as if he is too stupid to know what players to spend time on.

This Dorsey guy is another Phil Sewage. One day on the job and he got it shoved up his a$$. Idiot franchise. But hey............ I get it Larry, anyone who is good just won't fit into our mold.........anyone who is colorful is just not going to fit into our system.............we only want choir boys.

The Browns Blow. Dorsey Blows. Haslam is a BLOW magnate. Britt to the playoffs, Browns to a humilliating parade.

What part of they brought him in to be their 4th or 5th receiver didn't you get? He's a bum, nothing more than a warm body for Bill. Here's part of the problem- Hue doesn't hold anyone responsible for anything. Bill doesn't put up with any BS. Britt steps out of line (like he was doing in Cleveland), he's gone.

A dropped pass or two - maybe ONE fumble - and he will be banished from NE.  It has happened to other players.  Put the ball on the ground - one way or the other - and you are out the door.

  • This is definitely an interesting signing for the Pats. Other than Gronk, they really don't have a bigger type receiver, and Britt MIGHT fit in very well with them. Don't forget that Britt was hurt during preseason and in the early part of the year with nagging stuff, and during the second part of the year he appeared to improve when his number was called. Don't get me wrong, he didn't come close to living up to his contract, but Kizer definitely missed him on multiple plays when he was WIDE open, and Brady won't be making that mistake. Additionally, Brady throws a MUCH more "catchable ball" than Kizer, and Brady is way more likely to hit Britt in stride and not low or behind him. Britt is also likely to be open with the Pats, as their offense does a nice job of scheming people open and finding mismatches.

Bottom line, I could see Britt getting cut in 2 weeks because of his attitude and poor performance, or I can see him fitting right in and being valuable. It's a smart move by the Pats to kick the tires on someone who never fit in with the Browns.

One thing I will agree with Ghoolie on, Britt will have to drop the attitude in NE, or he'll be out the door faster than you can say "Belichick". Dillon was a problem in Cincinnati, but Bill got a couple decent seasons out of him.

We've seen that happen before, you are correct. Belichick puts up with zero shite.

There's absolutely no doubt his attitude will have to change, but the funny thing is...he KNOWS that.  He's probably going to show up bright-eyed and bushy tailed because he knows he has a chance to get the ball.  Conversely, he's not guaranteed to see the field either.  If he shows up and he's not what the Pats want, they'll send him packing immediately.  They really don't care, LOL.  But if he pulls that crap where he drops a pass and it pops to a defender for a pick, he's GONE baby.

  • How many misfit, attitude-challenged players has Bill taken in at bargain basement prices that the team culture has enveloped to bring out solid performances for one or more years?

Has to be at least 8 by now...

  • Ahh man I hope this Sheet don't work.out.  because the browns and especially Dorsey looks really bad if it goes well.

He does it because they fear him. They know if they f$%^ up, he'll cut them next week. We should get a poll going to vote if Britt f#$%'s up or not and gets cut by the end of the playoffs. It's at least gotta be at 50%.

  • Good signing for the Pats.  If they get him to play hard he can add a dimension to the passing game with his size and speed.

  • Wait, the process you claim you wanted to continue?

    Kenny the Con man

Belichik the HOF coach. Belichik the builder of dynasties. Belichik, the guy who idiot Cleveland boo'd and house vandalized with eggs.

But hey, fear not...........ask Flugel... Phil Sewage was the genius behind Ozzie,  Romeo Crennel was the genius behind Belichik, and Greg WIlliams is going to whip this D into shape by the time the 2017 season starts. Oh, wait, none of that schidt had any ties to reality.

If I am a betting man, I bet Britt catches a few key passes and scores some key TDs for NE. Good player.............Schidt Hue. Yet another thing to laugh at the Browns about.

The only thing that will help Brit is that he will have Tom Brady throwing to him.   Any below average NFL WR can look good with Brady throwing to him.

The question to ask is:   why are the Patriots skimming for the dregs to get players?

Recently saw an interview with ILB, Elandon Roberts. He was having issues before he "found the Patriot way" and the motivation wasn't fear at all. Kid said Bill relies on peer pressure.

One thing he'll do if you are messing up in practice is he'll send you into the facility to study your assignments. Bill is known for not stopping his practices to correct one player's execution. He may be unique in that approach.

This is a good sign Dorsey is going to break the culture of older players coming to the browns in the back end of there careers just to get a check.
