Browns Pursuing Packers Safety Morgan Burnett

The Browns Board
15 12 601 1
  • Signing him would leave CB and possibly Oline as big areas of need with our two first rounders.

Didn't record a pick this year, but had 93 tackles, 3 sacks, and 2 ints in '16

Didn't we fill the OL with a couple of guys.....plus CB with Randall?   No?

We won't go OL if we stay at #4.   And what are Minkah and Derwin James?   More CB or more Safeties?

Randall might play safety, we still have a need for a S so Minkah could be in play with #4

If this is true I wouldn't be surrised if they tried to move peppers.

If we brought in Randall to play FS and then bring in Burnett either they are moving on from peppers or the Randall rumors are wrong

No.. They'll just keep Peppers as what he truly is.. A Special Teams Return Maven LoL

i see it as insurance being that we were not able to sign Breeland or Johnson the plan to play Randall at F.S could be scrapped & he will play corner

We sign this guy it means we're targeting Chubb at #4, and we're not going after Fitzpatrick.

I think Nickers has a point- Peppers still has value on ST.   If Williams thinks Jabrill totally sucks, sure- cut your losses and move on.

Peppers going nowhere, he’s going to be our SS

LOL. Long time with no Peppers comments over the forum...

With another Safety, I see ourselves targetting Chubb at #4 just like Hoorta said, and Peppers playing as SS.

There's very little doubt in my mind this will be our #4 pick.  We need to get that pass rush going for certain.
