The teams nucleus
-
Won’t matter with Huey coaching
-
The sky’s the limit for Njoku
-
He’s going to demand top receiver money. We already paid Landry. We’re not going to pay for 2 big time recievers
If he stays cleans and balls out there is ZERO chance they don't pay him big money. If he keeps it together he is the very definition of a generational talent.

Is this post about the Browns or muscle bound pretty boys?

At least I got a comment out of you unrelated to your Hue hate lol.

Good question and nice witticism.
It will be fun to see who emerges as leaders/nucleus players in the varius position rooms.
Zeitler stands out in my mind on the Oline. Dude played with a broken finger for a few weeks last year, and played well if l recall. That raises the bar for the other 4 starters, and makes at least one backup wonder how hard he has to bust his butt for playing time.
-
Too bad they have the WORST head coach of all time.
Maybe HE is "the Butcher". He certainly has been in the past. Butchered his play calling, his decision making etc.
-
You have two separate issues really:
A. Which players are the most talented.
B. Which players will be the leaders of this team.
On A....
On offense....Gordon is the most talented likely. Njoku could prove to be that. And hopefully, eventually, Mayfield when he starts to see action
On defense you have Garrett....and I think Ward is a day one starter.
But...for B we have:
On offense....the veterans on the O-line, plus Landry plus Duke
On defense....the LBs Collins and Kirksey.

After looking at the nominees offered up I am confused. Would someone define "nucleus" for me, please.
- Core talent? Foundational? The athletic building blocks of our future?
- Emotional Leaders? The hearts of the team?
- Other?

Yes.

Yes.
Figured it had to be "all of the above" to include some of the lists produced so far...

Is there anything you don't over exaggerate? I bet you're one of those guys with a fish story where the fish just keeps getting bigger and bigger.
That's because she slips a little blue pill into his Cabernet.

You are taking it too seriously lol, Icjust felt the need to use the Butcher,Baker and Touchdown maker in a post

Sorry 'bout that...
I'll just go with emotional leaders on the field...
O: Mayfield... eventually.
Peppers... starting now.
